Awaken Ritual Head Spa

Shimmer Spa is introducing a hair service that is the pinnacle of sensory renewal.

Shimmer Spa now offers the wildly popular Awaken Ritual Head Spa service.

The Awaken Ritual Head Spa is a result of the expertise and knowledge of Shimmer Spa’s founder, Melanie Rongone. To fully explain it, you have to try it, she says.

“I am always looking to update the spa and elevate the experience for our guests by adding new and exciting modalities,” says Melanie. “This service is an ode to my roots as a fabulous shampoo girl, and it just made sense for a cosmetologist specializing in skincare to add a scalp facial.”

The head spa is a scalp facial and massage using water therapy and professional hair care, creating a sensory experience.

“While engaging with a spa setting comprised of relaxing music and a heated spa table, you’ll think more about the warm oils and tingling scalp treatments than you will the product line. However, the line Awaken by Surface was expertly chosen to restore and renew hair,” explains Melanie. “While the head spa concentrates on the scalp, the hair also benefits from detoxifying and descaling around the follicles. Oily, dry and thinning hair types can all benefit from the balance of Awaken.”

“I also combine the head spa with the facial treatment gua sha, the perfect complementary facial service,” she explains. “A jade stone massage opens the head spa to improve facial circulation, and both an exfoliating enzyme mask and hydration mask join the line-up for a healthy, lifted complexion and a foundation for beautiful hair.”

Like the Awaken Ritual Head Spa, the Jade Head Spa is around 55 minutes of treatment time.

Awaken Ritual Head Spa gift certificates are already being given to guests as stocking stuffers. The treatment retails for $115 before tax and is available for instant purchase securely through Melanie’s booking app.

You can find additional information at ShimmerNaturalSpa.com/headspa or text Melanie ahead of your holiday at 216-395-7291 to arrange pickup. Since Melanie actively works with guests, walk-in gift certificates are not available. Shimmer Spa is located at 20884 Royalton Road, in Strongsville.
