The real cost of hearing aids
hopping for the right provider is often more important than shopping for the “right” hearing aid.

Two of the first questions we hear from patients is, “How much will hearing aids cost and will my insurance cover them?”
While cost varies from model to model, we understand price is a concern and offer many quality options to meet most budgets. Medicare advantage plans have become increasingly common in the healthcare space. Our providers work with a few of these plans, but we can always offer competitive pricing-- often with more professional services included. Monthly financing options, including interest-free programs like CareCredit are offered. And for patients with very limited means, we explore solutions such as fitting donated or refurbished hearing aids when available.
No matter the financial situation, we will make a plan together to get you hearing better.
Hearing aids only work as well as they are programmed and maintained requiring consistent ongoing support from a licensed provider. Shopping for the right provider is often more important than shopping for the “right” hearing aid.
Research shows that untreated hearing loss can cause physical changes to the brain itself and affect our cognition and how we engage with the world around us. Protecting your hearing is protecting your brain and your ability to connect and communicate with the people you love. To us, that connection is priceless.
If you feel that your hearing has changed, it is never too early to schedule a hearing test. Come hear with us at Amanda’s Family Hearing.
