Muscle is the body's hero
One of the most important types of tissue is muscle. This hero boosts your metabolism and supports every system in your body.

What does healthy look like to you?
When most people consider their optimum health, they visualize a lower number on the scale or fitting into their old “skinny” pants.
In reality, they should think again.
One of the most important types of tissue is muscle. This hero boosts your metabolism and supports every system in your body. Muscle regulates blood sugar and protects joints, tendons and bones. Especially as we age, it helps with balance, mobility and stability.
On the mental and emotional side, research has also shown strength training reduces stress, improves mood and increases confidence.
Many of the one in eight Americans who are taking GLP-1 weight loss medications will lose muscle along with fat on their journey, which results in energy loss, sluggish metabolism and hormonal fluctuations. The highest demographic of people on these medications is adults ages 50-64, which is unfortunate because that’s also a time when people begin to naturally lose muscle mass—a process we can reverse.
Members who train here appreciate how we preach about muscle and what it takes to build and maintain it. We closely follow a person’s muscle-to-fat percentage and adjust our trainer-led workouts to address it.
With consistency and a routine of professional strength training and proper nutrition, you can rethink what your healthiest self looks like. We can help.
