With more than 60,000 square feet of gaming, bar and restaurant space, a brewery and an indoor raceway for electric go-karts—Foundry Social has become destination central for corporate events and private gatherings.

Tucked away down a side street, steps from Medina Square, what was once an actual circa 1871 foundry has been reimagined into a bustling entertainment complex.

“We’ve been intentional in growing our reputation as providing unique group event experiences that are not at all stuffy,” says Brian Fontanella, one of the founders. “With our expansive facility size and diverse atmosphere, we can accommodate groups of 12 to 2,000 people. Some of the events we host include teambuilding, product launches, annual meetings, training seminars, networking events, charity events, employee appreciation parties, and awards ceremonies.”

Ready for Your Mic Drop?
There is a variety of nicely appointed small, medium and large spaces, each with state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment, as well as a covered pavilion and patio. Groups can rent the entire facility or the MAD Brewing Company or High Voltage Indoor Karting racetrack. The main stage with microphone in the middle of the main floor of The Foundry has become an ideal spot for making speeches, giving out awards or live entertainment.

Gaming ranges from the ever-popular duckpin bowling to billiards, bocce, cornhole, ping-pong and a slew of classic video and arcade games.

“It’s a great mix socially, as people can participate in any activities they wish, or simply hang out and socialize with whom they want to on the comfy nearby couches and tables,” says Brian. “This creates a meaningful setting where attendees can forge and strengthen connections while having the time of their life.”

An eclectic catering menu makes the gatherings shine. It features a little bit of everything from the crowd-pleaser category, such as mouthwatering wings, pizza, pulled pork, salads and dessert spreads.

Perfecting the Private Party
“Families and friends have made us their venue of choice over the past year,” says Brian. “We are already booking graduation parties and have hosted bereavement gatherings, where the deceased chose us as the spot where loved ones could celebrate them in a positive way. Diaper parties are trending, too. The dad’s version of a baby shower, partygoers bring boxes of diapers and enjoy a fun night out. We also host a lot of rehearsal dinners, bachelor and bachelorette parties, and small weddings, as well as after-prom festivities.”

Whichever space best fits your party or corporate event, Brian notes their sales and event coordinators Laura, Alexia and Shea tap into their passion for creativity and help people with every phase of the planning process. They will also be there during your event in a concierge capacity.

In addition to the competitive races, High Voltage Indoor Karting offers a Pit Stop Challenge, where five-person pit crews compete to change the tires, just like they do in real car races.

“We are blessed with a staff that loves what they do,” he adds. “When the volume of parties we orchestrate began to take off, we invested in event planning software that makes it simple for people to reserve their event online and get the ball rolling.”

Time to Start Your Engines
Marketing Manager Tim Obert says the half-mile racetrack at High Voltage Indoor Karting naturally lends itself to team events that companies rave about.
