When was the last time your insurance agent really looked at your insurance coverage? Sometimes you’ve been with a carrier for so long things happen automatically, like increases in premiums, and you don’t question or even notice. I recently saved more than $5,000 in premiums for a client grossly overpaying for inadequate home and auto coverage. Insurance is ever-changing, and if there isn’t ongoing communication with your agent to update your needs, things are missed.

I know the days of having your neighborhood insurance agent over for dinner might be long gone, but it isn’t a bad idea. Now don’t get me wrong, I won’t be showing up at your home and there are some clients I haven’t actually met in person, but I know who they are, and I understand their needs.
