When it comes to enhancing your home’s outdoor spaces, Bremec Garden Centers does it all. And with the addition of the Garden Boutique at the Concord location, now they can do even more.

Thirty years ago, Bremec Garden Centers was just a dream for owner Bob Bremec. And today, not only does Bremec still occupy the original property in Chesterland, but over the years he’s added a Cleveland Heights location and the most recent addition in Concord in 2015.

“Bob started this business on his own with one truck,” says Denise Bremec, Bob’s wife and manager of the Garden Boutique. “Bremec Garden Centers has always been dedicated to the beauty and maintenance of your outdoor spaces. At the newest Concord location, we decided to venture into gift items like jewelry, purses and decorative pieces for the home.”

All Bremec locations offer everything from plants, shrubs and trees to the designing and building of complete outdoor living areas for your home. Landscape projects, patios, outdoor kitchens all begin at Bremec.

“We’ve always sold garden gift items and decorative pots,” says Denise. “I thought it would be fun to expand that idea in Concord.”

The Garden Boutique is full of unique items that extend way beyond the garden. One-of-a-kind jewelry collections, candles, scarves, artwork, and, of course, vases are all available.

“I think people love having a local place where they can find unique items for a hostess, housewarming or birthday gift for a friend without having to head to the mall,” says Denise. “Our customers come for their plant and garden needs and have the great surprise of wandering through the boutique.”

With a degree in fashion merchandising and a background on the corporate side of the industry, Denise is enjoying the creativity of the retail end of the business. It was her idea to hold a wine and cheese party at holiday time to introduce the boutique in a casual and fun atmosphere.

“People were thrilled to see what we have to offer,” says Denise. “And I get to flex my creative muscle. It’s been a great complement to everything else that we offer here.”

Even with the success of the Garden Boutique in Concord, Denise is not above helping out in the greenhouse. And there’s plenty to do to get ready for spring.

“We’re preparing for the spring and summer just like you are,” says Denise. “All of our locations are bursting with flowers, plants and everything you need for your home. It’s time to enjoy the outdoors.”

Bremec Garden Centers offers garden consultations and will even plant custom containers for you to create the perfect look for your front porch or patio.

“We have experts to answer your questions,” says Denise. One such expert is the helpful and knowledgeable Store Manager Michael King. Michael manages garden consultations, the greenhouse and all things Garden Center. “And, if you simply love the look of beautiful flowers, we can do the dirty work for you,” she says. “Small projects or large, we can help.”
