In true “go big or go home” fashion, the customer-centric folks at Bath Depot and Window Depot in Westlake have recently doubled their showroom space to include 14 stunning, life-sized bathroom and shower vignettes.

“We’re always looking to take the shopping experience to the next level,” says owner Tony Hoty. “Maybe you already have ideas of what your dream bathroom looks like and maybe you’re seeking inspiration. Our displays run the gamut of showers, flooring, tubs, vanities, mirrors, cabinetry, lighting, and hardware.”

What’s Happening Behind the Walls?
One of the vignettes is testimony to the level of transparency Tony and his crew go to explain the bathroom renovation process to the customer.

“With this open viewpoint, people get the most realistic picture of the pipes behind the walls, so they can appreciate the differences with things like copper versus PVC pipes,” he explains. “It makes it crystal clear to our customers what goes on during the installation process.”

“When it comes to selection, we offer a virtually unlimited number of products to choose from,” he adds. “We back that up with five-star service. And since we belong to a national group with collective buying power, we pass the savings along to the customer.”

We Have a Winner! Congratulations to Jenn Scott, of Westlake, who won Bath Depot’s Black Friday $10,000 Giveaway Contest. The winner’s name was drawn from more than 300 entries during the company’s Showroom Holiday Party. Jenn will enjoy a beautiful new $10,000 bathroom renovation.

How They Earn Those Five-Star Reviews
Putting customer care above all else has earned Bath Depot scores of effusive reviews. Here are a few recent ones:

“Absolutely pleased and impressed with the workmanship and professionalism brought to my bathroom. Installers brought a 1960s monstrosity into the 21st century. It was no small job,” says Eric Paddock.

“Great workmanship from the Bath Depot team. Our installer, Paul, was very friendly and informative and is a true craftsman in his field. Everyone we worked with throughout the entire experience was very responsive to our inquiries and questions, which we greatly appreciated.” says Richard Sable.

In addition to bathroom renovation, part of the showroom is dedicated to Window Depot, which has earned a similar reputation for service, selection, and savings.

“Although our customers usually put off their window renovation until early spring, now’s actually an excellent time to plan your job and get on our schedule with pre-season pricing,” he adds.

Bath Depot’s bathroom renovations feature full-size, walk-in examples and show many of today’s hottest trends, including popular finishes, expanded wall niches, hand-held shower heads, hidden safety features, and smart mirrors.
Customer satisfaction is the number one goal for Bath Depot and Window Depot. The staff includes a no-pressure team of consultants.

What's Trending in Bathroom Design?
On an afternoon spent in the newly renovated showroom, Bath Depot owner Tony Hoty outlines a few of the latest trends he’s seeing. Pop in to see them for yourself.

A flurry of finishes. “I’d say generally most of the finishes, whether in fixtures, tiles, or flooring, are matte instead of glossy. We’re seeing lots of black matte still, with champagne gold and oil-rubbed bronze a close second and third in hardware.”
Super niches rule. “Our clients seem to be opting for bigger and bigger shower wall niches. In fact, they are becoming their own focal point to a shower.”
Shower heads are having a moment. “One of our newest lines, called Magnetix from Moen, uses super strong magnetic force to connect a hand-held shower head to the main one. You can also adjust the hinge on the main head to transform it into a spa-like rain-shower head that sits flat above your head.”
High-tech smart mirrors. “There’s a myriad of features with the new mirrors coming on the market. We can back-light them with LED fixtures, or with the touch of a finger, customize the lighting within the perimeter of the mirror to warm or cool shades, bright or dim levels.”
Disguising safety. “Hiding safety features within smart design is popular. You’d never know a glamorous mirrored shelf in a shower is actually a grab bar.”
Marble looks. “People love the classic and timeless simplicity of pale gray and white marble. That’s our best-selling material.”
Shapeshifting. “Enlarged rectangular subway tiles are still popular, but we’re also seeing people take chances with more daring hexagons, octagons and helix shapes.”
