Every year, the Deepwood Foundation holds a gala fundraiser to support its mission of empowering individuals with developmental disabilities and enriching the quality of their lives by providing support, advocacy, grants and resources. This year’s event, “Deepwood Foundation Gala: Dream Big – A Celebration of Success” will be held on Friday, November 10 at St. Noel’s Banquet Center in Willoughby Hills.

Gifts will help raise the funds needed to ensure that Lake County individuals with developmental disabilities lead rich and rewarding lives in a community where they are fully accepted.

As a donor-supported non-profit, the Deepwood Foundation relies significantly on the support of individuals, corporations, special events and other charitable organizations. Donor participation helps to provide support and services to more than 600 people every year. The goal is to raise more funds than ever before, with hopes to make it the organization’s largest fundraiser to date.

Proceeds from the gala will directly benefit individuals with developmental disabilities in the areas of therapeutic camp scholarships, after-school programs, adaptive equipment, recreational opportunities and classroom needs.
