Medical doctors often don’t like to have their opinions questioned. That’s why some would rather you not search the internet and arrive at their office with a ton of research and questions.

At Center for Advanced Vein Care, we aren’t like that. We encourage patients to do their own research and ask questions. Taking the time to listen to patients and hear their concerns is core to who we are. In fact, when I was raising my two daughters, I never said, “Because I said so!” And we don’t talk to patients that way either.

Instead, we take time to listen—because venous health issues, like most health concerns, include an aspect of inflammation, and it’s important for our overall health to understand the role inflammation plays.

Yes, we treat vein disease, but we take it a step further because it’s all connected. We’ll talk about how the venous and lymphatic systems are intertwined with inflammation, the importance of getting enough vitamin D, and how walking improves both our physical and mental health.

We also like to understand where you are coming from, what your goals are, and explore any roadblocks to better overall health. All this can happen only if we take the time to listen and work together to achieve better outcomes.

So give us a call if you are suffering from any of the following symptoms:

  • leg pain
  • swelling
  • heaviness
  • fatigue
  • itching
  • burning
  • inflammation
  • skin discoloration
  • restless legs syndrome.

There may more going on.
