If your bathroom isn’t your absolute happy place, a remodel can make it so.

Over the course of a lifetime, the average person will spend approximately a year and a half in the bathroom.

It’s where you face your face first thing in the morning and last thing at night, get ready for work, enjoy a speedy shower or soothing bath. Shouldn’t this sanctuary be given its due?

If your bathroom isn’t your absolute happy place, a remodel can make it so. We specialize in bathroom renovations just as much as we do kitchen renovations, using the same creativity and uncompromising standards.

Before you make any decisions, take stock of the room and how you use it. Then ask yourself what your dream bathroom would be like.

A light renovation might include replacing the cabinetry and painting the walls a fresh color. A complete one would be gutting the space and replacing everything, shower, bath, floors, cabinets, mirrors, faucets, etc.

Esthetically, nowadays people want to evoke a spa-like feeling in their master baths, with soothing colors and textures with an emphasis on organic elements such as stonework and porcelain tiles.

A few top bathroom design trends include:

  • radiant heated floors, heated towel racks
  • intricate tile work
  • ornate chandeliers
  • white subway tiles
  • sleek slipper tubs that add style and don’t take up much space
  • zero entry showers and high-tech showers with water jets and shower heads for full body coverage
  • floating vanities and bowl sinks
  • wireless speakers or docking stations incorporated into mirrors
  • cabinetry with space for a television screen

Remodeling a bathroom makes a bigger splash than just your enjoyment, it also adds significant return on investment when you go to sell your home. As realtors like to say, “Kitchens and bathrooms sell homes.”
