The sooner a lawn can be treated with a spring pre-immersion treatment, the healthier and more weed-resistant it will be. Laying mulch in early spring is also beneficial to keep beds and plant materials in better shape through the summer and fall.

“With our new mulch equipment that performs the job in a fraction of the time of traditional hand mulching, we’re able to accommodate people who call and want the job done soon,” says Tyler. “We buy our mulch exclusively from a local, family-owned provider. There’s a big difference in quality between low- and high-quality mulch. Bagged varieties bought at a big box store are prone to contain mold and fungus, as well as filler materials. People trust that our mulch is freshly ground from real wood and properly turned to stay fresh.”

Adding to the wow factor in any home’s curb appeal, mulch also serves to add beneficial nutrients to your soil and retain moisture.

In addition to mulch services, ASE offers a variety of custom packages that include mowing, trimming, blowing off grass clippings, pavement edging and bed maintenance depending on the clients needs. Commercial clients can get their lots and sidewalks cleared of any weeds, too.

Every job begins with a design phase, in which he sits down with folks to get a handle on their personal taste and functional needs for the space. “In the 12 years we’ve been in business, this was the busiest February in terms of planning meetings we’ve ever had,” he says.
