A beloved local destination with a reputation for all things fun, Swings-N-Things Fun Park is celebrating an exceptional honor

A mecca for fun in Northeast Ohio for over four decades, Swings-N-Things Fun Park in Olmsted Township is ecstatic to have a new title bestowed upon it: The World’s Greatest.

National award-winning television show World’s Greatest recently chose the fun park as “World’s Greatest Family Entertainment Center (FEC).”

Now in its 18th season, World’s Greatest is a 30-minute nationally televised show airing on cable and streaming platforms. Dedicated to highlighting the world’s greatest companies, products, places and people, World’s Greatest producers research 75,000-plus business and industries worldwide to determine which companies are worthy of the “World’s Greatest” honor. A business cannot apply to be on the show, nor can it pay to be chosen.

Swings-N-Things Fun Park is a family-owned and operated destination that was established in 1982. First a freestanding batting range, Swings-N-Things has grown to a 13-acre fun park over the past 41 years. Open year-round, the park is packed with fun attractions for the whole family, including miniature golf courses, go-kart tracks, bumper boats, a batting range, outdoor laser tag, paintball, a large indoor game room and homemade ice cream shoppe.

“For 41 years we’ve been dedicated to making Swings-N-Things a special place for families right here in Northeast Ohio,” Owner Tim Sorge says. “It feels great to know what we have spent years building is being recognized on such a worldwide level. We had no idea this was coming our way and we are honored and excited to celebrate. This recognition, being unsolicited, makes this award so incredibly special.”

How2Media, producers of World’s Greatest will have a film crew at Swings-N-Things on Saturday, July 15 to film the Swings-N-Things segment, which will air nationally in the fall.
