“Physical therapy can and should be the first response to pain or injury. People see doctors seeking pain medications, injections, even surgery to ease their pain. These are not solutions and come with many risks including addiction and infection.” —MyoFit CEO/owner, Dr. Adam Cramer, PT, DPT.

Dr. Adam Cramer, PT, DPT, knew he wanted to be a physical therapist—aiding with pain management and sports enhancement training—since playing sports in high school. In 2014, along with wife Courtney, who is a licensed physical therapy assistant, they founded MyoFit Physical Therapy Clinic as an outpatient physical therapy practice that includes orthopedic physical therapy and a myriad of physical services and wellness services, such as:

• dry needling
• cold laser therapy
• therapeutic massage
• weight loss services

One-on-One Care Ensures Better Outcomes
In addition to pain management, the trainers also address issues such as imbalance and weakness.

With clinics in Middlefield, Chardon and Ashtabula, as well as a mobile clinic that brings the therapy to patients’ homes when necessary, MyoFit offers a better level of one-on-one care to patients for the best outcomes.

The team of licensed physical therapists doesn’t just put you on a machine and walk away; they are constantly educating patients about their treatment, what’s causing their pain, and empowering them to avoid or treat pain going forward. In fact, they send patients home with helpful handouts, as well as an app that’s designed specifically for them, so they can continue and support their care at home. They feel the more information patients have at their disposal, the more they can help themselves.

As an independent provider, they aren’t connected to any hospitals or doctors, so are free to treat patients in the way they know works best. Plus, the treatments are covered by insurance.
