Working with Acclaim Renovations & Design means never having to be out of touch

About six years ago, Bob Gallese, founder of Acclaim Renovations & Design, was undergoing a sizable growth in his business, what most people would call “a good problem.”
More jobs led to more paperwork and an increasingly complex work flow.
“Someone would call to ask about something and it would take me forever to follow the paper trail to answer the question,” he recalls. To address the organizational challenge, he did his research into 24/7 web-based communications portals, and, after trying several, went with Co-Construct.
“Everyone, from the client to the craftsmen, supervisor and myself are part of the portal,” he says.
“Clients can look back at the whole scope of the renovation, from selections they’ve made to design sketches and the financials at any time of day and reach out to us with questions. The portal has done wonders for our responsiveness and customer service.”
In addition to streamlining communications, Bob says he put into place protocols for a more professional level of service and quality control.
“For instance, we have team meetings every morning before heading to the job, and our field supervisor visits every job every day to inspect the work and monitor its progress,” says Bob. “He takes photos of the jobs he posts to Co-Construct.”
Throughout the renovation, Acclaim’s tradesmen are part of the creative process, always thinking of ways to improve the esthetics and functionality of the job.
“Theirs is a never-ending search for perfection, looking for the best way to maximize the space and bring a client’s dream to life,” he says.
When the job is done, Bob does a final walk-through with the homeowners to make sure they are happy.
“I take final photos from the same angles as the photos we took before starting the job for a dramatic before-and-after effect,” says Bob.
