The hardest decision when building a home in Mallards Edge is choosing between a lake or golf course view. It’s like picking between an Audi and a Mercedes. There is no wrong choice. They both are highly coveted.

A planned community of freestanding single-family homes skirting Mallard Creek Golf Club, Mallards Edge’s new phase consisting of 51 homesites features picturesque, serene views everywhere you look.

When completed, 125 homes will be spread among the 67-acre subdivision, which is dominated by a verdant landscape and five lakes. Forty-six acres of the community consists of homeowner-owned green space and passive recreation, including three stocked lakes with fishing piers.

“When you visit our model home, everything you see is what you get,” says Joe Lucarelli, sales associate.

“You don’t have to pay for upgrades to get stainless steel appliances and granite or quartz countertops. Those are all included. Plenty of LED recessed lights are included on the first floor and under cabinet lighting is a standard feature.”

At Mallards Edge, there are four models to choose from, offering 1,500 to 3,800 square feet of living space. Homeowners also have the option to add a standard basement or, on some select lots, they can opt for walk-out and day-light basements.

“Due to the high demand from homeowners who want basements for extra living space or for more storage, we can build finished basements,” says Ron.

At the cornerstone of the community is low-maintenance living, where you spend more time doing what you want to do and not what needs to be done. “I like to tell people to trade in their lawn mower for a golf cart,” Ron says.

“By building in a sleepy suburban neighborhood in Eaton Township, we are able to keep the building prices reasonable with homes priced to sell from the $300,000s,” says Joe. “And we are centrally located within minutes of 1-480 and I-71, close to shopping and dining, and only 30 minutes from downtown Cleveland.”

“The new homesites will be available at the beginning of November,” he says. “We currently have a waiting list for any interested customers.”
