When you love what you do, it’s not a job,” says Roger Nair.

As Commercial Director of Keller William Tri-County Properties in addition to his role as Founder and Team Leader of NEO Team, he’s parlayed this love of the profession to the fellow Realtors he is leading to success.

“For the past 30 years, what I’ve loved most about real estate is helping and educating others,” he says. “I lead by example. I support my team members and my clients. I wake up daily with purpose and enthusiasm, and I am always willing to lend a helping hand.”

He says that in a highly competitive service industry, what stands out most about his team is their support of each other.

“We are like family,” he says. “I support our 11 team members, and they all support each other. Our team is led by honesty and integrity.”

Excellent communication and accessibility are also hallmarks of Roger, and he instills them in his team.

“My phone is always with me, and it’s always answered, there’s never a delay,” he says.

“Giving clients our undivided attention is integral to why once people work with us, they send their friends to Keller Williams,” Roger continues. “Looking to the future, I see our team continuing on its trajectory of growth. We hope to add a few more agents, keeping the team to 15 agents, staying tight and accessible.”

Accolades Aplenty
“I’ve made a point to surround myself with great people,” he says. “And I’m proud that my team has flourished in their careers, and earned the top spot in Medina County for sales.”

Along the way, they’ve put up some impressive statistics, including selling more than $24 million in real estate in 2018. They have also won the Ohio Association of Realtors Award 2004-2018, as well as the OAR President’s Sales Club Pinnacle of Performance Award 2015-2018.

But he admits that his favorite award is recently winning the Medina County Board of Realtors Excellence in Community Service Award.

“My team totally took me by surprise,” he says, laughing.

Roger Nair was recently presented the Medina County Board of Realtors Excellence in Community Service Award.

“They told me I was going to the awards ceremony to see my associate, and fellow NEO Team Leader, Mark Taylor win an award. When they announced my name instead, I was shocked, and then when they showed me the nominating letters, I really teared up.”

According to Maria Dumitru-Brito, a member on the NEO Team that nominated him for the award, Roger is much too humble to talk about all of his service. So, she does it for him.

“His many community efforts include volunteering with St. Ambrose Parish on many of its projects to help the less fortunate,” she says.

“He has been a member of Rotary for more than 15 years and is a recipient of the Paul Harris Fellow award. He has been inducted into the Brunswick Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame and helped the Brunswick Area Historical Society and Wild Ones establish a butterfly garden at Heritage Farm.”

Here’s What People are Saying
Patient and supportive are two adjectives that describe Roger, and his clients couldn’t agree more.

Says Lia Cooper,

“When we met Roger, we were looking for our forever home. He was patient, kind and very knowledgeable. He showed us many, many houses and guided us throughout the whole process, from putting in an offer to closing. He was supportive every step of the way and we have been recommending him ever since.”

Communication and accessibility matter, too. Here’s what James Mehalik says,

“From the time we met, my wife and I knew we made the right choice by listing with Roger. He walked us through every aspect of selling our home, answered our million questions. Always easy to access. He does a wonderful job as a representative of Keller Williams.”

Medina Seller’s Market
“When there are so many more buyers on the market than sellers, obviously that favors the sellers,” says Roger.

“And since in Medina County there’s a shortage of homes on the market, as soon as one comes up for sale, you can expect it to go in a few days, and often head into a multiple-offer situation.”

He says in these instances, as a home seller, you want a Realtor with experience in negotiating the best offer.

“In this age of litigation, you want to make sure all of your documents and contracts are in line,” he says. “And a good Realtor is your layer of protection to make sure everything goes smoothly.”
