I remember the day they wheeled my husband, Rick, back to the operating room. After suffering a heart attack, we rushed him to the hospital where they prepped him for surgery. He was just 49.

The last words he said to me before they took him back were, “Do you know where the life insurance policies are?” His concern was not for himself but for me and our children, and he felt good that as a provider in our family that he’d taken care of us.

Rick is now recovered and back at home, a gift for which we are thankful each and every day.
