Consign Home Couture has earned a name for itself amongst discriminating buyers seeking significant savings on sophisticated high-end furniture and décor.

Sofas, sectionals, chairs, tables, bedroom sets and consoles, as well as all the accoutrements to finish a room (wall prints, mirrors, lamps and lighting, rugs, sculptures, vases, collectibles, show plants and pillows) are smartly arranged in vignettes that make shopping inviting. Walking into the showroom is like entering a chic home full of distinctive style.

“At any given time, you’ll find on our floor looks you’d see from the pages of popular catalogs such as Arhaus and Pottery Barn,” says owner Susan Brown, who opened the shop 10 years ago.

“We specialize in transitional styles, as well as modern, vintage, global and Asian influences. Most often, we bring in our largest volume of furniture from people who are moving, whether it’s downsizing or just making a change to a new home that the furniture won’t work in.”

She says her ultra-professional, style-savvy sales crew enjoys working with shoppers to create a gracious home on a modest budget by repurposing high-quality pieces.

“Due to the large volume of shoppers, our showroom floor literally changes by the day,” says Susan. “So we advise people to buy something if they like it and not risk waiting to come back, because it won’t be here. You miss a day, you miss a lot.”

She says their strict guidelines ensure they only offer like-new and current styles in fine furnishings, carrying top brands like Thomasville, Ethan Allen, Henredon and Pennsylvania House.

And just as enthusiastic as her shoppers is Susan’s loyal group of consigners.

“People get tired of their things and want to refresh their homes, so they consign with us and pick out something different when their piece sells,” she says.

Consign Home Couture is located within the Stein Mart Plaza at 25017 Center Ridge Road in Westlake.
