Olga Beirne isn’t your average real estate agent

Olga Beirne, of Russell Real Estate Services, brings a colorful global sensibility to her role as one of Hudson’s sought-after Realtors. In fact, she’s among the top five Realtors in her company.
She worked as an electrical engineer, and has lived in various places around the world. Born in Cuba and having lived in Spain, Olga is fluent in Spanish. She’s sensitive to the individual needs of families buying and selling homes due to corporate relocations.
“I’ve always been fascinated by architecture, even when I was an engineer,” she says. “When we moved to Hudson 16 years ago, we fell in love with the area because it reminded us of our time in New England. It’s really a charming community full of wonderful people. Four years ago, I decided to take my passions and distinctive skills to help people find the home of their dreams.”
As the fates would have it, Olga is a real estate natural. Within a short period of time, she was in the top five at her company—selling homes faster and for more money than many of her peers.
“My children were the ones who first encouraged me to get into real estate,” she says with a smile. “I’ve moved many times over the years, and with each house I bought, I had a keen eye for spotting an investment and getting the best value from it when it came time to sell.”

Olga underwent specialized training to become a relocation expert, a key skill with so many high-end buyers coming to this area.
“I’m accustomed to working with international buyers and have access to a number of different resources,” she says. “I do whatever it takes to familiarize them with the home and the neighborhood. I’ve even gone as far as driving around while FaceTiming so they can see what the area is like. I also offer Matterport 3-D tours and drone photography to put a home in its best light.”
With a shortage of homes for sale, Olga says this is definitely a seller’s market, and most of her homes go into multiple offers within days of being listed.
“But it’s still important to have your home ready to go on the market,” she says. “In order to attract top dollar, a home must be in move-in condition.”
She explains that her engineering background helps her look through a different lens to examine the minute details that help a home make a great first impression. Studies indicate that people make up their mind about a house within the first few minutes of walking up the path to the front door.
“At the end of the day, I think people enjoy working with me because I see my role as someone who eliminates stress for them at every point of the transaction,” she says. “I’m passionate about the service I provide, and I love helping people.”
