It’s not too late to have your home’s exterior cleaned for the season by Pristine Clean

The Pristine Clean team recommends an exterior house cleaning at least once a year to prevent eroding debris that could damage the siding and shingles.

Social scientists classify people into five groups: innovators, early adopters, early majority, late majority and laggards. If you check the box for laggard, still flip your phone, prefer VHS to DVD, or think Twitter is a bird sound, have no fear.

When it comes to getting your home and roof cleaned for the season, July might be a tad on the late adopter or laggard side, but it’s definitely not too late.

“We’re actually still quite busy this month,” says Ken Wilson, who, along with Anthony Alberino, owns Pristine Clean. “And for those folks who were too preoccupied this spring to give us a call, the good news is we are extending our specials through the end of August.”

Part of people’s motivation for putting off this year’s service also could be the wintry spring weather.

“We spent half of April covered in snow, which was a challenge,” he says. “Although we had to go through some operations gymnastics, we actually grew our business dramatically during the springtime. We have continually bolstered our infrastructure to keep up with the rising demand for premium house washing, roof cleaning, deck washing and concrete clean and seal services.”

Better Late than Never
For any homeowner thinking it’s too late to bother with cleaning their home, roof or driveway, that they might as well wait until next year, Ken cautions it wouldn’t be in your home’s long-term best interest.

“We recommend power washing your home at least once, and optimally twice, each year as regular maintenance,” he says. “And there is much more than esthetics at stake. Not cleaning and eliminating grime, algae and moss from the siding and roof could lead to what we call ‘decroding’—a condition of eroding debris that could damage the shingles and siding’s protective top coat.”

Education is a key element of the Pristine Clean way of doing business.
“Whether over the phone or in person, we strive to explain the importance of what we do and how we do it, from hiring the best technicians and extensively training and certifying them, to only using the top detergents and application tools,” he says.

Rising Above Your Expectations
Since day one, Ken and Anthony have adopted a business model founded on honesty and transparency.

The gentlemen say that lifting the standards for what Clevelanders expect from a power washing company is important to them.

“We offer every customer our best price, up front, period,” says Ken. “There are no gimmicks or games. With us, what you see is what you get every time—a professional service priced honestly. This is something we take pride in. It’s just a matter of respect.”

After all, Ken and Anthony, along with their crew, are local folks, and they treat customers like they would family and friends.
