Consistent, restful sleep is enormously important to getting and staying healthy. Studies show it can improve or enhance a wide variety of issues, including immune health, cognitive function, blood sugar, heart health, mood and more.

For example, a 2019 study published in the Journal of Experimental Medicine found that getting adequate sleep can improve the potential ability of important immune cells, called T cells, to attach to their targets. T cells are a type of white blood cell that are vital to the body’s immune response.

Another study published in the journal Neurology showed there may be a link between poor sleep and signs of Alzheimer’s disease. Researchers believe adequate sleep is needed to perform critical detoxification processes where neurotoxins are essentially washed from the brain. A build-up of these toxins is strongly associated with Alzheimer’s.

According to most researchers, to maximize the benefits of sleep, try to get somewhere between seven to eight hours each night. But what if sleep doesn’t come easy?

While there are quite a few effective products out there, one we have found to be very effective is Dreaminol, a unique, time-released formula that combines Melatonin, L-Theanine (an amino acid shown to enhance alpha brain waves), 5-HTP (a precursor to serotonin), and Lactium. Research shows these ingredients can decrease both the time required to get to sleep and the number of awakenings during the night.
