Founded by Chad Howman, who has 27 years’ experience in home remodeling, Bath R Us opened in March.
“We wanted to focus solely on bathrooms, as these spaces are often overlooked by home remodeling companies,” says Chad, who got his start in the business at the age of 13.
Bath R Us specializes in all the facets of a job, from flooring to replacement tubs and showers, vanities, toilets, lighting and fixtures.
“Our goal is to transform spaces that are dated, and possibly moldy and mildew, into the homeowner’s ultimate dream bathroom,” says Chad.
Many jobs can be completed in just one day, and materials and installation come with a lifetime warranty.
A designer will come to your home with samples and help you customize a bathroom design.
People want the option of aging in their current home and are transforming their bathrooms to make them more safe and secure. Making the bathroom accessible with grab bars and zero entry showers and tubs is becoming popular.
Luxurious Bathrooms
Chad and his design team at Bath R Us report that people are treating their potties like high-end spas, sparing no expense in pursuit of luxurious materials. People see their bathroom as a peaceful oasis, a haven to relax and escape.
They offer clients numerous selections in “wet areas” of tub or shower, or turning a tub into a shower, using an exclusive high-tech polymer material that is durable, stylish and easy to clean. They come in a wide variety of colors and styles, including marble-look and granite-look.
Take, for instance, the dramatic transformation pictured above. Diane Potocar and her husband knew when they moved into their 1956 Willowick home that renovation was in order.
She googled “top-rated bathroom remodelers” and Bath R Us came up.
Working with the designer, Diane transformed their main bathroom and even built a new bathroom in the basement.
“He showed knowledge and expertise every step of the way,” she says. “We took the room down to the studs and replaced our existing tub with a gorgeous new shower that resembles marble.”
Other selections include vinyl plank flooring in Dockside Seashell, a rustic vanity in Driftwood, on-trend polished bronze fixtures and white-on-white wainscoting to complete the look.
“The designer even helped me plan the shelving to match the new design,” she says. “It was wonderful working with him. I like that he didn’t try to tell me what to do, he just showed me lots of samples and we came up with a plan together.”
