With the introduction of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, individuals and families that currently participate in the Affordable Care Act (ACA) health insurance plans have the opportunity to reduces their insurance premium costs.

About 80% of Americans could find costs as low as $10/month after the credit for subsidies.* Some people on Silver Plans may even see their costs reduced to zero dollars a month.** And anyone who has been on unemployment in 2021 will be able to get credit for the highest allowable subsidy possible, regardless of income during the year. Even people on COBRA who qualify could see savings with the cost of their insurance covered by the government through September.

But these subsidies and savings are not automatic. Just a quick phone call to me to review your current coverage and you can find out if there could be healthcare savings in your immediate future. And always, my guidance is free of charge.

The deadline to implement these savings is Sunday, August 15, but the sooner you take advantage, the sooner you can see your savings.
