Brunswick KiDDS Pediatric Dentistry was selected this year by the Academy of GP Orthodontics as a training site for dentists. While it is a great honor that this locally-owned business is the only dental practice in Ohio chosen by the academy, area children are the ones who will reap the biggest benefits.

“Children can participate in these courses and get braces at a lower cost,” says Dr. Milton Ntragatakis, founder of Brunswick KiDDS.

“This is a new option for families who otherwise may not be able to afford braces. We are part of this community and feel it is our responsibility to enhance the quality of life for our residents. We are not spreading our roots wide but are digging deep to make an impact.”

“We believe that all kids should have access to orthodontics,” adds Dr. Brittany Heffernan. “Our mission has always been to provide the best and most advanced dental care, and now we are making it even more affordable for everyone.”

Brunswick KiDDS was selected as the Ohio site for these orthodontics courses, teaching licensed dentists new and advanced techniques in orthodontic treatment. Dr. Milton, along with other qualified instructors, will supervise the dentists to ensure all patients receive the same high-quality care their practice is known for.

As part of their extensive pediatric dental training, Drs. Milton and Brittany completed two additional years of training after dental school in Pediatric Dentistry, which included orthodontic training exclusively for children through adolescence, as well as those with special health care needs.

Dr. Milton’s love of dentistry was fostered as a student at Case Western Reserve University and during the Pediatric Dental Residency Program at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, where he rose to the position of chief resident. Dr. Brittany, who joined the practice several years ago, completed her dental degree at the Ohio State University and received her advanced training in the NYU Lutheran Pediatric Dental program.

Brunswick KiDDS has built its practice over the years by offering individualized care for patients and achieving beautiful results.

Offering both traditional metal braces and Invisalign clear aligners, Drs. Milton and Brittany consult with each patient to evaluate his or her teeth and lifestyle to determine the best course of treatment.

“We are using Invisalign in more and more cases because patients like the benefits of having a clear, removable and comfortable retainer that straightens the teeth without the need for metal, brackets or wires,” says Dr. Milton.

“Plus, because they are removable, patients can eat any foods they want, and it is easier to brush and floss teeth to keep them clean.”

“Regardless of the specific treatment plan, we are dedicated to providing the best dental care,” says Dr. Brittany. “It is not important how big our practice grows, but how much impact we make on children’s lives.”

In addition to orthodontics, Brunswick KiDDS offers dental care for newborns up to 18-year-olds, including cleanings and laser dentistry for virtually pain-free procedures.
