Residents at Westwood Place are in on one of the best-kept secrets in Strongsville. Conveniently located in the heart of the city, adjacent to the Commons, where community band concerts and other activities fill the summer, the newly renovated senior community is just a leisurely stroll from the Ehrnfelt Senior Center, the library and the farmer’s market.
Plenty of shopping is just a free shuttle ride away.
For seniors who need a little help with daily tasks, but want to live independently, there’s another secret you may want to know about.
“At Westwood Place you can have the services that you need when you need them,” promises Jennifer Felice, marketing manager. “For instance, light housekeeping and laundry services are offered by ComForcare Senior Services, which has opened an office on-site and can coordinate those services for our residents.”
It’s just one more reason for people 55 years old and up to consider joining the Westwood Place community.
“We’re in a perfect location and we offer the best value for seniors in the area,” Jennifer insists. “Our building is secure, clean, offers a lot of amenities and is very affordably priced. Most of all, we offer peace of mind to our residents and their families.”
Rent at Westwood Place is only $850 a month, including heat, electricity and water.
The spacious apartments at Westwood Place feature full-sized kitchens with beautiful oak cabinets, ceramic tile and full-sized appliances. Most suites have walk-in showers and they all have tons of closet space.
Worry-free living is a top priority at Westwood Place. That’s why each suite has two emergency pull-cords—one each in the bathroom and the bedroom—in case of an accident. All suites have interior entrances and visitors must be buzzed in to gain access to the building.
Once you’re inside, you’ll quickly notice the newly refurbished lobby and sunny glass solarium, where residents mingle and enjoy the community’s many activities. The facility features ample entertainment and party room space for all of the residents, and their friends and family.
But it’s the people that make Westwood Place an ideal place to call home.
“We have friendly residents and a very caring staff,” Jennifer says.
The on-site activities director coordinates a full schedule of social, recreational, educational, spiritual and cultural programs, including regularly scheduled fitness classes, movie nights, cards and Bingo. Westwood Place brings you into the computer age with wireless Internet access available and a new Nintendo Wii system. Complimentary continental breakfast is served twice a week.
Along with an on-site beauty salon and barbershop, Westwood Place offers regularly scheduled on-site medical services, like podiatrist visits, blood pressure screenings, health fairs and wellness talks.
“Many of our functions are open to the public by reservation,” Jennifer says. “Our newsletter has information about all of our activities and you can get it by calling our office.”
