Date: 10/19/2009
The holidays are right around the corner and the Bay Village Early Childhood PTA is hosting its 10th annual Homes for the Holidays Tour. The 2009 tour will feature six beautiful homes, each decorated for the holiday season by local decorators and florists.
To celebrate the milestone anniversary, the tour will also include a special preview party that features a progressive cocktail buffet and private showing of four special preview-only homes.
Tickets can be purchased in advance, for $18, for the Sunday homes tour at www.bayhomestour.com, and at BAY Arts, Java Bay Mojo, True Value Hardware, in Bay Village and Avon Lake, and Mitchell’s Ice Cream, in Rocky River and Westlake.
Tickets may be purchased on the day of the event until noon only at BAY Arts, 28795 Lake Road, for $20. This event is open to the public, but no strollers, infants, or children under 12 will be admitted. Tickets for the preview party are $75 per person and include admission to the tour on Sunday.
The preview party event will welcome 150 people on Saturday for a progressive cocktail buffet and shuttle to four homes by Lolly the Trolley. More than 800 people will visit six additional homes on the Sunday home tour.
This charity event is the main fundraising event for the Bay Village Early Childhood PTA. The money raised by the homes tour benefits the Bay Village community, specifically its schools, pre-schools, library, parks, and the Lake Erie Nature and Science Center. What Mimi reader wouldn’t love a new car? One local resident thought it was a joke when she received a phone call that she had won a new Mercury Milan from Nick Mayer Lincoln Mercury, in Westlake.
Well, it was not a joke and Theresa Kruger, who drives 30-miles each way to work, really appreciated her new car as a prize. Theresa says she enjoys entering contests, never thinking she’ll actually win. But she did, thanks to the owners of Nick Mayer Lincoln Mercury. Congratulations!
Check out www.nickmayer.com for specials on service, vehicle specials, and other exciting future contests. Who knows, maybe you could be the next winner. Visit the showroom and check out the fabulous new, seven-passenger MKT crossover vehicle like I did. Spectacular!
