Strongsville Community Theatre Involves Local School Kids in Production
Date: 05/04/2008
For their upcoming production of “A Year with Frog and Toad,” a witty and jazzy adaptation of the beloved books by Arnold Lobel, Strongsville Community Theatre is involving local children in decorating the set.
Elementary and pre-school children will be cutting out and decorating leaves to be used as props on the stage. In addition, older kids will be making other “swamp” decorations to be used within the theatre. 8 lucky children will win 2 tickets each to the show.
“We’re proud to be able to incorporate the kid’s creativity and imagination into our production,” said Elaine Gritti, a member of SCT’s board of directors. “We’re also hoping to inspire a love of the performing arts in some of them. We can’t wait to see their artistry on our stage!”
