For the past 15 years, Tracey has offered her talents as an International Master Educator for Rusk, while building and maintaining an impressive client base as a master colorist/stylist on the eastside of Cleveland.

When the timing was right, Tracey realized her dream by opening her own salon with a passionate determination to create a client-centric environment that offered the highest quality products and with a customer service level that goes beyond a client’s expectations. With her years of styling and color expertise Tracey has become a highly sought after beauty expert. She could have opened a salon anywhere in the country but chose to remain in Cleveland. In fact, the talent at Lavish is so well regarded, when The Plain Dealer recently decided to do a pages-long holiday fashion feature, Tracey and her team were hand-picked by the editors to create stunning natural looks for all of the models.

One of the distinctive design elements found within Lavish is the Color Bar, a feature that allows clients an up-close peak at a process that normally takes place behind closed doors.

“We specialize in color and wanted to take the mystery out of the process,” Tracey explains, motioning to the elaborate stainless steel counter that sits in front of dozens of boxes filled with premium Rusk tints. “Unlike store-bought color, we mix a number of different hues to customize your shade and our clients love to see the process happening before their eyes.”

Tracey explains that the Rusk deep shine color line has a smaller pigment, which causes less damage to the outer edge of the cuticle, allowing hair to better adapt to your chosen style. Nano technology produces color that lasts longer and is more durable.

“We spend a considerable amount of time doing a consultation before we even start the color process,” she insists. “There are a number of different options.”

Both cut and color, Tracey says, should work together when designing a client’s look. She also says that for optimal color results, adding a Top Coat to produce high-gloss shine is highly recommended.

Your Lavish styling experience begins in the Lather Lounge, where a complimentary therapeutic scalp massage is administered with every shampoo. Then it’s on to one of the well appointed styling chairs.
