Going Mobile
Between my involvement with show cars and my duty in the U. S. Marines, attention to detail is something I have practiced all my life. When we detail your vehicle, I make sure that it is as beautiful as it can be. —Russ Bing
With their own tent, electric generator and fresh water supply, SunCoast Automotive Detailing owners Russ and Leigh Bing will detail your car in your employee parking lot or in your own driveway. And you won’t believe the results.

Business partners Russ and Leigh Bing are out to clean up your act. “You are what you drive, and everyone feels so much better about themselves when they climb into a beautiful, freshly cleaned vehicle”, exclaims Russ, who along with Leigh owns SunCoast Automotive Detailing. “With our mobile system, everyone can have a beautifully cleaned and detailed vehicle waiting for them when they leave work or in their driveway ready for a big weekend.” Leigh adds.
No doubt about it. These folks are serious about cars.
Russ, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and a heavy gunnery Sergeant in Gulf One comes from a long line of “motorheads” (that’s “extreme auto enthusiasts” to the rest of us) who frequently enter their cars in show competitions. “Between my involvement with show cars and my duty in the Marines, attention to detail is something I have practiced all my life. When we detail your vehicle, I make sure that it is as beautiful as it can be.”
Leigh is also a long time resident who brings with her a considerable background in customer service and attention to detail. “We work to meet the expectations of every customer,” she says. “Our standards are much higher and frequently our clients tell us they never realized their vehicle could look so good.”
But close attention to detail is only half the story. The unique approach SunCoast Detailing takes in servicing their customers is truly extraordinary. “We come to your home or business, we clean your vehicle using nothing from you, and in one to three hours, depending on the job, we leave you with a showroom quality cleaning job,” Russ explains. “We are completely mobile and completely self-contained—period.”
Inside the SunCoast trailer is a portable tent which they erect onsite to shelter the customer’s vehicle from the sun while it’s being cleaned and polished. They also bring a portable generator to power their equipment.
That’s unusual, but their attention to detail goes even further. “We carry our own 115 gallon water supply,” Leigh boasts. “We do not use any water from the customer so they will not see an unexpected spike in their water consumption and we can control the water quality for the best job possible.” Russ, ever the Marine, confidently tells us, “We can detail a car in the middle of the Sahara desert. Our water consumption is an eco-friendly five to seven gallons per vehicle and we even use an extraction system when we clean engines to avoid leaving any debris in the customer’s driveway. When we clean a car, there are no hidden costs passed on to the customer or mess left behind, just a beautifully transformed car.”
That’s brilliant.
SunCoast’s system makes it easy to maintain your car’s interior and exterior
finish. There is no handing the key to your prize possession over to some questionable individual who takes it gosh knows where. Your vehicle stays on premises and these two professionals are fully bonded. They arrive and leave on time so you keep your schedule and they maintain flexible hours to fit your needs. A mobile card machine allows the convenience of MasterCard, Visa and Discover on the spot.
And there is more technology. Along with interior and exterior detailing, engine cleaning, degreasing, and even extreme cleaning (yes, Mom, there is no minivan interior too trashed for these folks to rejuvenate), they also offer Teflon paint sealant. This high-tech solution can add years to the life of your car’s finish and save you a lot of waxing when properly maintained. But the special touches beyond wet look and matt finishes are the 10 different fragrances they offer for inside your car, plus a banana fragrance in the wheel wells and plastic dealer mats to protect your carpet when they are finished.
Right now, Russ and Leigh are offering Mimi readers a special opportunity to try their handiwork. Purchase a complete interior and exterior detail and you will receive an engine detail with an undercarriage steam cleaning at no additional charge. This is a $30 value. Offer is good now through July 31, 2008.
Russ also invites commercial accounts to join companies like Heritage Plumbing, Fastenal and others who have relied on SunCoast to get their vehicles looking like new. For complete information on their services, visit www.SunCoastDetailing.com.
