Dr. Marty Webb receives Excellence in Diversity Training Award!

Dr. Marty Webb, Supervising Psychologist, Berea Children’s Home and Family Services’ Pre-doctoral Internship in Professional Psychology Program, is the recipient of the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers’ (APPIC) 2010 Excellence in Diversity Training Award.
This prestigious award provides annual recognition for distinguished achievement in training and teaching in APPIC Member internship and postdoctoral training settings. Dr. Webb has received honors for her outstanding accomplishment in diversity training.
The awards ceremony is August 12, 2010 at the APPIC Business Meeting held at the American Psychological Association’s Annual Conference in San Diego. Each winner receives a plaque, a check for $500, and an award citation to be published in the APPIC Newsletter.
“We are so proud of Marty and thrilled that she is receiving national recognition for her exceptional contributions to Berea Children’s Home and Family Services’ psychology training,” says Dr. Kathleen Payne, Agency Psychologist, Berea Children’s Home and Family Services. “She is truly creating a standard of excellence that we hope all of our interns strive to attain during the course of their careers.”
