Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad Announces Staff Promotions

Steve Wait, President and CEO of Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad (CVSR), is pleased to announce several staff promotions within the organization.
Kelly Steele has been appointed to Director of Marketing and Education. Steele, who has been with CVSR since April of 2007, previously held the position of associate director. She will be overseeing the marketing, promotions, advertising, special events, public relations and education for the organization.
Ron Gallimore has been named to the Manager of Information Technology. Gallimore, who has been employed with CVSR for 14 years, will oversee all technology services, including website development with on-line ticketing, data mining, software implementation and security.
Larry Blanchard has been promoted to Train Master. Blanchard’s new responsibilities will include training conductors, and assisting in safety and rule compliance. Brian Kelly has been promoted to Assistant Train Master. Kelly will assist with the training of volunteers, scheduling of train crews and performing efficiency testing.
CVSR is a private sector, not-for-profit, 501 (c)(3) volunteer supported organization operating in partnership with Cuyahoga Valley National Park. CVSR is dedicated to the preservation of passenger rail transportation in Cuyahoga Valley and the historic Ohio & Erie Canalway. CVSR is entering its 35th year of excursion rail service. Service is offered weekends in March, April and May, September, November and December; Wednesday through Sundays in June, July, August and October.
