League Of Women Voters Brunch: February 27 02/27/2010 - 02/27/2010

The League Of Women Voters of the Akron Area is launching a year long celebration marking the 90th Anniversary of the courageous women who fought for women's right to vote. 

The League is hosting a series of events to bring elected officials and civic groups together. One of these events will be a brunch on Feb. 27 at 10 a.m. at Fairlawn Country Club to recognize women holding elected office in Summit County and their service to our community. 

Any person who is interested in politics and would like to learn more about the League is welcome to attend.
