Map to business
Bigeye owner and head sushi chef Young Kim was raised in Seoul, Korea before earning a Hospitality Management Degree from Kyung Hee University. He then moved to New York where he honed his sushi skills at the popular Sapporo Sushi Restaurant. While in New York he met fellow sushi chef Barry Chong, who worked at Beachwood’s renowned Sushi Rock before joining Kim at Bigeye.
On the menu, you’ll find about 100 items, including a huge selection of fresh, highgrade sushi. In fact, the name “Bigeye” refers to Bigeye Tuna, a better tuna, Kim says, than the more popular Yellowfin.
In addition to all the standard rolls you find at most sushi bars, Bigeye features proprietary Special Rolls. Plus, every day Chef Barry makes 10 different sauces—from scratch.

The sushi Kim and Barry prepare is authentic, delicious and creative. Hostess Jenny is warm and friendly and there's plenty on the menu for non-sushi lovers.

Yum! The sushi here is wonderful, and they have some really creative combinations. On top of the great food, the restaurant was clean and beautiful and the service was friendly and professional. I will definitely come back over and over.
