Strongsville’s Young Chef’s Academy (YCA) is a cooking school for kids aged three to 18. YCA teaches kids everything they need to know, from following recipes, to gathering ingredients, to measuring, to mixing, to eating the goodies. YCA is available for birthday parties and other events on Saturdays and Sundays. A membership costs $69 a month. Single classes cost $20. And for those of you with more than one young chef, the Academy offers a 20 percent discount on the second child. Certificates, issued in two $20 increments, are good toward children or adult classes only.
