We are the only company I know of that can remove Shotgun Mold.

Here’s how Perfect Power Wash can revitalize, renew and restore your home’s exterior—and even remove Shotgun Mold.

It’s bad enough that the tanking housing market has devalued your home. Don’t let dirt, mold and mildew on your vinyl siding and roof make it worse.

“A lot of people feel that power washing is a luxury, but when you consider the damaging effects of the contaminants on your siding, the cost of a thorough cleaning is a small price to pay to protect your investment,” says Mike Palubiak, owner of Perfect Power Wash, of Akron.

Left alone, mildew can eat away at your siding and roof, causing irreversible damage.

“It’s just like the salt on your car,” Mike explains. “People have their car washed because they understand the damage that the salt will do over time.”

Mike says regular power washing can often double the life of your siding and roof. And, if you’re trying to sell your home, a thorough cleaning is a low-cost way to improve its curb appeal—giving you an advantage in this buyer’s market.

You don’t have to settle for just any power wash when you can have a Perfect Power Wash.

“What sets us apart from other power washing companies is that we have a water heater built onto the truck that heats the water to just the right temperature for optimum cleaning and protection of your siding,” explains Mike, who started the company in 2001. “Warm water removes up to 10 times more contaminants from the siding and roof compared to cold water. You wouldn’t wash your hands with cold water and expect them to get clean.”

Using a specially formulated biodegradable detergent, Perfect Power Wash can remove even those black gutter runoff stains that confound most power washers. And because the detergent is biodegradable, it doesn’t pose hazards to your children, pets or plants.

Perfect Power Wash uses a delicate soft-bristle brush that won’t damage your siding, and uses a range of appropriate water pressures to apply the detergent, removing the dirt and other contaminants from your home, making it look like new.

And speaking of a new look, realizing that all homes aren’t sided with vinyl, Mike now offers revitalization for wood and aluminum siding. It all starts with a Perfect Power Wash.

“A paint job is only as good as the preparation of the surface,” Mike explains. “If you paint over dirt it’s going to chip and peel. That’s a waste of your money. It’s well worth going the extra mile and having a professional power washing done before your aluminum or wood surface is painted.”

Once the home is ready for its facelift, Mike’s painting crew can take over.

“We use only top-quality Sherwin Williams paint and we spray it on so that you never have brush strokes or roller marks,” Mike promises.

Whether your home is sided with vinyl aluminum or wood, an attack from Artillery Fungus can ruin the finish. Also known as Shotgun Mold, Artillery Fungi are actually spores that are shot out of low-quality wood mulch and make tiny black dots all over your house.

“I’ve seen spores way up on the second story,” Mike says. “If they are left unattended, the spores will leave stains and continue to ruin the appearance and value of your home.”

While Mike advises you to be sure that wood mulch applied close to your home isn’t susceptible to Artillery Fungus—using composite mulch or cedar mulch is recommended—he has developed a patent-pending removal process for those who have already been attacked.

“We are the only company I know of that can remove Shotgun Mold,” he insists. “We can remove the existing spores and give you some tips on how to prevvent them from coming back.”
Perfect Power Wash also specializes in restoration of wooden decks, fences, gazebos and playsets.

“The beginning of spring is the perfect time to get your deck in shape for a full summer of enjoyment,” Mike suggests.

Perfect Power Wash not only cleans that ugly layer of winter off your deck, but, as certified applicators of quality Wolman stain products, they can restore the wood to its original beauty.
And speaking of an ugly layer of winter, have you examined your driveway lately?

That chipping and cracking caused by expansion and contraction, and exacerbated by rock salt, could have been avoided with the application of a concrete sealant.

“It’s better to protect your driveway before the winter, but it’s a good idea to have a sealant applied now before it gets worse and the chipping really starts,” Mike says. “If you get a grasp on it now, you won’t have to worry about it in the fall.”

Perfect Power Wash offers a two-step cleaning and sealing process that brightens your concrete and protects it for up to five years.

The driveway restoration process starts with a high-pressure surface cleaning with 200-degree water—almost boiling. Then, using a special walk-behind steam cleaner, Perfect Power Wash provides a uniform cleaning without the zebra streaking that occurs when a wand is used.

“Concrete looks dense, but it is actually porous,” Mike explains. “When water gets in and freezes, it results in cracking. The longer oil and other fluids have to seep into the surface the harder they are to remove. Since stains can be absorbed as deep as an inch into the concrete, at some point they will become permanent.
That’s why you want to get rid of them as soon as possible. Our sealant keeps water and oil out.”

Perfect Power Wash also has a special high-gloss sealer for stamped concrete patios and walkways.
