If you haven’t visited the shop since the holidays, you’ll think you’re in a different store—and in a way you are.

Copley’s Just That Twist is changing the way we shop for gifts, home accessories, decor and more.

Spring hasn’t quite bloomed on the outside, but it’s arrived with a vengeance at Just That Twist—a unique gift, interior re-design and home décor shop which reopened last fall after a six-year hiatus. Its new home is a completely restored, historic 1883 farmhouse in Copley.

“Business has been great,” say proprietors Janet Clover and Kelly Brown. But it’s not the merchandise alone that makes Just That Twist a must-visit destination; a lot has to do with the two charming proprietors. “We welcome people to the store as if they are coming to our home,” explains Kelly. “One of the nicest things we hear customers say is that they’re going to ‘Janet and Kelly’s’ rather than Just That Twist.” As for those folks who used to frequent their previous locale, they’re tickled to find Just That Twist back in full swing.

But get ready, because if you haven’t visited the shop since before the holidays, you’ll think you’re in a different store—and in a way you are.

The winter wonderland is gone and in its place are fresh, new spring displays and products so bright and cheerful you can’t help but smile. “Every season brings an entirely new look to Just That Twist,” adds Janet.

“The store is brimming with spring accessories and gifts you won’t find elsewhere.”

Buying trips to major markets in Atlanta, Chicago and Dallas several times each year give Janet and Kelly access to the best and brightest new artists, vendors and products. “We select items for every style and décor at prices that fit any budget,” says Kelly.

“We recently began carrying a fun new line of high-quality flip flops. Switch Flops are well-made flip-flops with interchangeable tops that attach with Velcro. They’re colorful and, with a price tag of less than $35, they’re an affordable way to liven up any warm weather wardrobe.”

Kelly has also hand picked an eclectic selection of hand-crafted jewelry. “We offer a collection of glass photo charms crafted by a variety of artists. Before we even put them out, one customer saw and fell in love with a 1920s photo pendant called ‘Fancy Pants.’ She had to have it.” The beautiful collection of Italian beaded and pearl jewelry is perfect for the discriminating shopper, while bold bendable rings, necklaces and bracelets are fan favorites.

Just That Twist also features a fresh assortment of colorful canvas wall pockets, perfect for stowing magazines, keys, cell phones, day planners and other “stuff.” Just That Twist’s selection of wall art is also creating a buzz. Customers are able to find different sizes and styles to fit nearly any space or décor.

Life-like silk floral wreaths, swags and arrangements, nestled inside creative containers, are wildly popular too, as are the precious collection of baby items. Pieces like super-soft clothing, blankets, unique accessories and botanical lotions and soaps are exclusive to Just That Twist - they even sell tall decorative stems with cotton pods to invite a natural feel to baby’s room.

“Our customers have learned over the years that if they see something here today it might be gone tomorrow,” explains Janet. “New products arrive weekly and we work diligently to keep things fresh. Actually, we’re expecting a delivery any day now of indoor-outdoor area rugs, designed by southern belle Paula Deen.

They’re absolutely gorgeous.”

Professional home and corporate re-design services are also a part of The Twist. Using your existing furniture, collections, artwork and accessories, these ladies will put their talents to work on your decorating dilemmas.

And just like the popular HGTV show “Designed to Sell” Janet and Kelly are available to stage your home and provide suggestions for making it market-ready.

Here’s the best part: Just That Twist is hosting a special Spring Garden Dig from March 12 through April 11.

When customers spend $20 or more, they’ll have
an opportunity to “dig a discount” that just might reveal a coupon worth $5 to $50 to apply toward your next purchase.

Now that’s an offer anyone would dig.

Just That Twist is located at 1463 South Cleveland-Massillon Road in Copley in the historic green farmhouse across from Copley Feed & Supply. Hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday noon-5 p.m. Call 330-666-8000 for more information.
