It’s time to begin your Christmas shopping and the Wadsworth Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary is ready to give you some help! To benefit the mission and services to the Wadsworth community, the Auxiliary is selling cookbooks, entertainment books and collectable Christmas cards and prints.

The cookbook, Sharing Our Favorites, is in its second printing. The collection of the recipes from the auxiliary members and friends is one you will not want to miss! $10.00 each

The 2009-10 Entertainment Book is also being sold by the Auxiliary. Also a big winner under the Christmas tree, we are also able to get copies of books from other cities. You will easily be able to check people off your list from Wadsworth and far away! $30.00 each

A commissioned water color of local artist Dave Cordas, entitled An Historical Wadsworth Christmas, is now complete. The painting, highlighting the historic Johnson House at Christmas, will be issued in greeting cards and lithographs. The auction of this original piece of artwork will be on Friday, November 20th at the annual Candlelight Walk. The painting will be displayed and bids (silent auction format) accepted at Grace Lutheran Church from 6-9PM that evening. Cards will be $10 for a pack of five. The signed and numbered lithograph will be $50.00. Candlelight Walk specials will be available! The specials will include first year cards and lithographs of “The Tradition Remains” as well as specials of the 2009 painting. Be sure to stop in at Grace Church!
